      NOTE: THIS IS AN INFORMATION PAGE: WE ARE NO LONGER USING EVENTRBRITE FOR PILATES BOOKINGS We have two regular Monday sessions with Neuro-Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor Sasha Baggaley at Christchurch Morningside (6a Morningside Road), Edinburgh. Session 1: 2.45-3.45pm and Session 2: 4 – 5pm. These are delivered in blocks, generally 8-12 weeks in length. The contribution towards class costs is £3 per session bookable in a block, the length of which varies from term to term but the total for any block is based on £3 per session. Booking is recommended as places are limited. Please see Branch Website for booking details: or e-mail: Why is Pilates Recommended? Core stability is the foundation of Pilates. It aims to promote strength, stamina, balanced muscle development, flexibility and increased range of motion for the joints. As your core strength develops so does stability throughout your entire torso, which can help with some of the mobility and postural issues of PD. Additionally, reducing the effort placed on the body during everyday activities can help reduce fatigue levels.
